Morsviazsputnik has been at the forefront of mobile satellite services for more than 35 years and offers a complete portfolio of communications and navigation services including mobile satellite communications for the customers. Our customers include government and aid agencies, corporations from the maritime, transport, media, oil and gas, communications and aeronautical industries, as well as end users on the territory of the Russian Federation and abroad.
Morsviazsputnik is the coordinator of numerous International programs:
- COSPAS-SARSAT (International Satellite System For Search and Rescue).
- GMDSS (Global Maritime Distress Safety System).
- SSAS (Ship Security Alert Service).
- LRIT (Long Range Identification and Tracking).
As the licensed Inmarsat operator on the territory of the Russian Federation Morsviazsputnik runs a network consisting of:
- For Inmarsat-3 generation — two INMARSAT Land Earth Stations:
NUDOL LES (Moscow region),
NAKHODKA LES (Primorye Territory).
- For Inmarsat-4 generation – Points of Presence in Moscow and Amsterdam.
- As well as — INMARSAT Tracking Telemetry and Control Station (Moscow region).
- Point of service activation for customers.
- Accounting Authority with the International Telecommunication Union (AAIC code SU04).
Upon the authority from the Government of the Russian Federation FSUE «Morsviazsputnik» participates in the development of a number of state and national projects including the National Information Integrated System for Sea and River Transport «MoRe». The system is designed to provide data support for the national maritime administration by means of consolidating the data from national, regional and other existing information systems for the purpose of ensuring safety of transport at sea and on the rivers.
Delivering the wide range of services and products on land, at sea and in the air Morsviazsputnik:
- Provides wireless Internet data, email, text messaging, voice, VPN, other data and IP communications solutions as well as add-valued services.
- Trades in equipment as well offering the full variety of Inmarsat equipment for both I3 and I4 generations of Inmarsat satellites.
- Supplies installation, maintenance and warranty services for the satellite terminals.
- Ensures 24/7/365 Customers Support.
- Conducts type approval and certification of radio communication and navigational equipment within the national GOST R system.
- Offers frequency and licensing support for all communications systems, consultancy services.
